The chaplain shall ensure that the religious and spiritual needs of residents of Wendell Foster’s Campus are met by actively delivering pastoral care and in coordination with local clergy, congregations, and volunteers. The chaplain seeks to meet the spiritual needs of each person by providing pastoral care, facilitating involvement in a congregation or religious community, participating as an interdisciplinary team member, and leading services and liturgical events (e.g. worship services, funerals, religious celebrations). This is a part time position with flexible hours. Some afternoon/evening/weekend availability required.

Bachelor’s Degree and one year pastoral experience required or master’s level theological degree and ordination by a recognized religious body. Chaplaincy certification preferred. Experience in working with individuals with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities desirable.

Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professionals provide direct support while ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals with disabilities. They also assist in the areas of self-help, activities of daily living, and socialization.

Our DSPs are passionate about serving others and provide meaningful work in a variety of community and residential settings.

We have full time, part time, and on-call positions available.

WFC offers competitive pay and excellent benefits. The average pay for this position following the probationary period is $9.00 per hour.

Autism Program Support Staff

Part-Time Position

Duties may include but are not limited to preparing or implementing lesson plans for participants in the areas of:

  • Sensory Communication
  • Transitional
  • Social
  • Recreational
  • Daily Living Skills

Position requires mentoring or job coaching as well as other duties needed within program


  • High School Diploma
  • Strong organizational, Interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Punctual
  • Experience working with children/adults with disabilities, preferably Autism

This application will cover the 2014 Fall Program. The part-time position is needed Monday thru Thursday from approximately 3:00pm-5:15pm. Resumes are not necessary, but encouraged.
