WFC Maintenance Men Battle Tsunamis and 400 lb. xylophones!

April 13, 2010

This is totally just a big blog shout out to our wonderful maintenance team here at WFC. We have great staff in every department around here but these guys deserve a little internet recognition for two specific jobs they've done in the last two days to get our Sensory Park in tip-top shape.

The first job was this:
What is this, you ask. I'm not sure it has a name. But it's an extreme sport that involves standing on 12 foot ladders and wrestling strong vinyl material over kite structures to assemble Tsunami Shade Structures. Which provide nice, cool shade, as well as beautiful architecture to our park.
The second job was too scary to photograph but suffice to say that 2 maintenance men and 2 community volunteers moved a 400 pound xylophone off the back of a semi with nothing but their bare hands! That's just tough.
So here is a blogging pat on the back to Richie P, Kelly C, Ronnie G, and Marty H. Thanks for all you guys do to keep things running around here!
